  1. WHEN I WAS A KID a friend of my father owned one of the Moto Guzi V8's - I remember my dad trying to convey to a 6-year-old me how special it was... Only now I am 50 and watching this do I see that it rally was SPECIAL. All I can remember is it has a watch glued to the centre cap of the steering column. The guy was called Peter Monahan and he used to build exhausts for bike racing teams in the 60's and 70's
