Its the OU DEBATING society - its what they do - last year they had "squirrels are better than pigs" I dont think you understand the concept at play here - they pull "for" and "against" out of a hat - its not what they believe - they debate the side they are given to debate.

@cabbageplays6710 - Well in that case you should absolutely hate the Oxford Union debating society, cos it is literally about arguing points yo don't believe in in order to become skilled enough for the facts not to matter but to win through the persuasion of the skill of your debate.

ALTERNATIVELY - its people arguing for things they dont actually believe in, they pick for and against out of a hat - and its where the British politicians of tomorrow practice their skills of lying and deceit. Winston Churchill hated it with a passion. Clever people winning parliamentary votes over the actual facts cos they put forward a clever argument they learned at the OUDS
