As a British person, I'd just like to put in a pitch for not investing your North Sdea Oil money and instead giving it all to rich people as tax cuts and having your economy collapse completely. we are really enjoying poverty.

IM AN AUTHOR on psychology and the collapse of civilisations - all 5 of these are happing right now so you better get used to them. LITERALLY, the best case scenario is that AI is so massively disruptive all governments initiate UBI ASAP and we let the Chinese sort climate change cos they are literally the only ones capable of doing it. The USA is collapsing nd the UK is in total freefall collapse.

Got you. 1) Immigration is not "mass" - there is no "rapid increase of labor" 2) It has almost zero effect on wages as immigrants nearly always fill jobs that local labour does not want to do 3) Labour is devalued due to automation and outsourcing manufacturing to other countries where labour is dirt cheap. 4) stop watching/reading right wing media, its rotting your brain

Dude you just want to blame brown people - its not brown people taking your jobs - good jobs were outsourced to cheaper countries and to automation meaning wages dropped meaning women had to enter the workforce so people could afford a home so you have 1.4 X the NATIVE people in the workforce cos wages were low so wages got lower which meant the bottom rung on the ladder was starvation wages that only immigrants would fill so they imported immigrants to do the jobs. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IMMIGRATION - the immigrants are a RESULT of the economic circumstances NOT the cause It is capitalism, it was ALL predicted 150 years ago by a German guy living in London STOP BLAMING IMMIGRANT or the fascists will win and then you really WILL be working as a slave, I mean a LITERAL slave. NOPE - that's just because you only know communism through Western propaganda. As did I until I went to live in an ex-communist country and learned from the people what it was really like. Unfortunately, I cant tell you, cos communism worked on FUNDAMENTALLY different principles, different thought processes that are impossible to convey in a YouTube comment.

@Riingwraith Im British - we have lots of stupid selfish people with tiny brains, we have not yet worked out how to extract value from these resources. OH - we also have political instability and corruption on a vast scale.
