We Europeans have to thank him. It has snapped our politicians out of the "we cant DO anything" mode of thinking into the "Sh!t - we better do SOMETHING" mode of thinking. Its the best thing to happen to Europe in 30 years

@jordantan291 NO the Average Am3ric4n has no idea what savings are. Even in my poor Eastern EU country the median person has EUR 16,410 in savings as off 2023. In the US it is around $8,000 [€7,000]

I did a degree program in ancient Chinese philosophy and politics, its just enough for me to know when people know what they are talking about or ate totally BS'ing. these guys know. Every single US govt "expert" is either BS=ing or lying about China

Over the Covid Lockdown Toronto University offered some of its degree programs free of charge online. I did the "Ancient Chinese Philosophy and Politics". I am 1 million miles away from being an expert on China but what it did allow me was the ability to tell if someone was utterly clueless about China. Distressingly, every single US govt official or Govt "expert" on China is at BEST lying to the US public or more likely, utterly clueless. They ALL think that the Chinese think Iike the Am3ric4ns and have the same ambitions as the Am3ric4ns, that their greatest ambition is to BE Am3rci4.

@kittydukakis Have you seen that China has announced new chips based on Berylium and not silicone getting over the band gap problem...??? Also the EU are manufacturing photon based processors that are faster than the Nvidia A100 for AI learning whilst using a fraction of the energy. The days of "Am3ric4n" dominance in the chip industry are over.
