The US govt is clearly fascist and every country on earth is running as fast as they can to get away from it and make friends with China. Trump is deliberately destroying the country on behalf of the billionaires cos there is no profit to be made in the US anymore - the profit in the next 50 years will come from the global south and the thing preventing that at the moment is the US. I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude - but this is my job, I write books on this. The US is following the collapse model of the USSR at this point not the UK. The oligarchs are selling off the country for scrap to get the last bit of profit out of it.
