@StreetComp You will - all countries do. I live in Bulgaria now - in 1990 to 2000 this place was a literal 3rd world country run by the Mafia. Now its more like Dubi, bit of an exaggeration but its booming. My city is Burgas, look it up its very beautiful.

You remember when you all thought Europeans were lazy l00sers and thats why they were poor and didnt have V8 trucks and giant houses...??? We made different decisions to try and preserve society, and its been REALLY hard cos your corporations and billionaires are hyper-predatory. We have had to fight like h3ll to save our society from Am3ric4n influence we knew would destroy it. I take no joy at all in watching decent people in Am3ric4 suffer, but as a nation - this is the future you built for yourselves. You cheered this on and insulted anyone who didn't want it. You did your d4md3st to make the whole world in your image - can you see why the world resisted...???

@chickpstranded3069 Capitalism is a funnel - it slowly moves all and I mean ALL the money to the top. Unless you tax that money at the top and move it to the bottom to recirculate - the system just runs out of cash. When we stopped taxing rich people the money ran out so we did "quantitative easing" printing more money to keep the system working - but THAT money anded at the top. The top now had SO MUCH money they just started to buy up EVERYTHING - cos they knew that the money itself would slowly become worthless cos it was being expanded in supply but housing and farm land etc - NOPE fixed supply. So they bought it all. And that is 50% of the reason you cant afford a house.

@SageMichaelWright Well Am3ric4 IS collapsing. The entire future of the US was predicated on AI and that ended this week. The US govt is clearly fascist and every country on earth is running as fast as they can to get away from it and make friends with China. Trump is deliberately destroying the country on behalf of the billionaires cos there is no profit to be made in the US anymore - the profit in the next 50 years will come from the global south and the thing preventing that at the moment is the US. I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude - but this is my job, I write books on this. The US is following the collapse model of the USSR at this point not the UK. The oligarchs are selling off the country for scrap to get the last bit of profit out of it.
