TRUE STORY in about 1998 I had been working on a sales deal worth several million for the company for about 2 years, the boss got switched out for another guy who attended ONE meeting with me. 1 month later I got the contract, the biggest the company had to that date. The new boss told the board "the deal was lost but I managed to save it" and awarded himself the completion bonus, he could not rob me of all the commission but he fired me 3 months later after I complained. I always think of this guy when I hear about Elon Musk
