  3.  @nrump2161  Very interesting comment. I think we need to be clear that when we are talking about left and right we are technically talking about economics, not social issues. Though these do get brought in by people. Left wing is stated control of many or all industries. Centre is state control of some and regulation of all. Right is state control of none and minimal regulation. On this scale we can see the US Democratic party [which I do love to hate you are right] is right of centre. the British labour party is just left of centre. Her e in Bulgaria our busses are socialised - they are run by the state and you pay a FLAT RATE fair no matter how far you go. You pay 1 fair to go to work even if that is 30 miles and 5 busses. You pay the same as the guy who goes 1 stop. Our electricity is cross-subsidised so wholesale electricity esports have to subsidise domestic supply so when the west was paying MASSIVE electricity bills - ours irnonically went down. We dont have Uber - illegal, and we dont have Amazon cos they regard the high streets as a social benefit. Income tax is a flat rate 10% on EVERYTHING - wages, share dividends anything. You got a company cay - 10% of the value per year tax. So economically Bulgaria is VERY high regulation intervention wiht a lot of state control of industries and services. We literally have a communist party to vote for. Socially its quite conservative with the odd exception of trans people, who just get a total pass. Lots of trans people, guys in dresses get on the bus and no one bats an eye - dont ask me, I have no idea why they are so conservative about most things and then have zero issues with trans people.
