  1. YES - i live in Bulgaria now - the poorest country in the EU. Yet the average working class family has 2 kids on 1 salary in their mid 20's. so exactly HOW poor is it>??? Actually, it has very few rich and hyper rich distorting the figures. An 18 year old on minimum wage can afford to rent a 500 sq ft apartment and still have a life - and I live in Burgas on the beach, which is an expensive place to live. A couple on minimum wage can afford a 850sq ft apartment with sea views and still be out clubbing a few nights a week.

THE GUY COMMENTING ABOUT CARS BEING NEWER IN EUROPE I did a survey of my local carparks [cos I'm autistic LOL] and 24% of cars were less than 1 year old - that's in Burgas, Bulgaria That amazed me cos Bulgarians DON'T change their cars, I know people who have 40 year old cars they bought new. We have people driving classics as daily drivers to work that they bought NEW.
