I MAKE BESPOKE MENS CLOTHING 1900 TO 1930 and it is very noticeable that fashion in 1900 were designed to be tailored - fashion in 1930 were designed to be mass-manufactured As an aesthetic, I LOVE looking at the 1920's, but for wearing the 1900's is WAY more comfortable. By the 1920's the "standard block" was dictating all the clothing i.e. simpler, less fitted, easier to mass produce, more efficient use of textiles.
