"Senior Conservatives fear the end of conservativism" AND THE WORLD REJOICED - ANGELS SANG FROTH FROM HEAVEN - EVIL HAD BEEN BANISHED FROM THE LAND

I 100% AGREE Boris will be having a total meltdown at the moment - the embarrassment that Rishi got done what HE could not and will be getting the applause Bojo didnt... The revenge will be brutal and never-ending - REMOVE THE WHIP
81
SHE WAS ASTONISHINGLY BAD I knew she would be bad, but it was way worse than I thought, just repeated the same line over and over and over...
75
WHEN THE REVOLUTION ARRIVED I did not expect it to be led by a bunch of retired footballers...
75
TIM - IT WAS 100% RACISM there was no way even a blind badger could not see that Sunak was intelligent and basically competant and Truss was a nut job
70
I WILL NEVER CEASE TO BE AMAZED at Tim's genuine astonishment when a Tory MP behaves exactly like a Tory MP. "She showed total disdain for the people who elected her...!" Yeah thats the job description for a Tory MP Tim.
66
REMEMBER - IF THEY WERE DECENT HUMAN BEINGS they would not be Tories
55
CALLING FOR PEACE IS A SACKABLE OFFENCE...??? thats 2023 for you...!!!
53
HE DOES NOT MEAN WELL he is a Tory - if he were a decent human being he would NOT BE a Tory Your worst fault is you need to see the best in everyone Tim. Some people are just BAD people. Rishi Sunak is a BAD person.
52
IF THEY WERE DECENT HUMAN BEINGS they would not be Tory MP's
51
OWEN JONES IS 100% CORRECT
51
"Nobody in political office can have this much contempt for our nation" I'm not sure you have ever met a modern Tory...
49
I DONT THINK SHE WAS DISMISSIVE I watched it and she recognised it but said "I think a mens minister would play into the culture war and we would be better with a mental health minister" Making a valid argument is NOT being dismissive, its recognising the problem but recognising that solution may lead to further problems and suggesting an alternative.
48
THE CURRENT PLAN is like smashing a hole in the bottom of the sinking ship to let all the water out...
47
TIM, MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES on the continuation of Mad Nadds in her role as destroyer of culture
47
a culture that shrugs and moves on thats why I no longer live in the UK. I asked my neighbor in a £750k house to call me an ambulance, my phone battery was dead, she said NO and shut the door in my face. Multiple other things like this made it a country I no longer wanted to live in. My neighbors here in Bulgaria would carry me to the hospital if I needed it.
47
GERMANY GDP per person $46k Average working week 34.8h Average Salary $48k BRITAIN GDP per person $40k Average working week 37.4h Average Salary $38k ITS ALMOST LIKE treating workers well, paying them well, gives them an incentive to work harder isn't it...???
47
IT WOULD BE AMAZING if we found out in years to come that Putin was dead and the Prof was the only one talking about it
44
IT WAS THE SINGLE WORST speech I have ever seen a PM give... She could not even choose a reporter "eerm, errm, err"
44
2 HOURS TO LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY has to be a world record... Took me 18 years
43
WHEN BORIS WAS SACKED as Foreign Secretary he did not move out of the flat for 6 weeks - the civil service had to literally hound him out of the building cos he didn't want to pay the rent on a flat...
42
the lib dems will be fine as the opposition dont worry Tim - we can say goodbye finally to the Tories and the 200 years of damage they have done to the UK EDIT - its not sad in any way Tim - its joyous, its the victory of good over evil
40
THE FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM with being Nadine Dorries is at the end of the day, when all is said and done, when the dust settles, you're still Nadine Dorries... And you just can't escape that fact.
39
AMERICANS ARE NOT THERE TO HELP YOU they are there to help American interests. Im always amazed that people dont get this. The fact those interests may overlap on one issue does NOT mean the Americans will help you with any other issue. They are not arming Ukraine cos its "the right thing to do" They are arming Ukraine cos its in the American geopolitical interest to do so. Were it not, they would let Russia HAVE Ukrai or even arm Russia.
39
APPARENTLY youtube has decided Im not allowed an opinion on this
38
100% YES IT IS ABSOLUTLEY JUSTIFIED Nationalise the railways - sort them out - give the workers a living wage - its the infrastructure backbone of the nation, its crazy that it is a private sh!t show...
37
This is the end, my Tory friends This is the end, my only friend The end of our elaborate plans The end of everything that stands The end No lies, party surprise The end I'll never be Prime Minister again...
37
You remember Trump did the same? Its the billionaire's broken brain, they DONT GET IT...!!!
37
I THINK I WOULD BE FEELING SICK at the thought of a meeting with Raab - but not out of fear...
36
NADINE STAYS TO COLLECT SALARY there - corrected it for you Tim
35
THE DAILY MAIL Quote "Support of fascism: 1930–1934. Lord Rothermere was a friend of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, and directed the Mail's editorial stance towards them in the early 1930s." Need I say more...???
34
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DEAR GOD NOOOOOOO....!!! There are 68 million people in the UK - 67,999,999 of them are better suited to this than Liz Truss.
33
RISHI TELLS IT LIKE IT IS the problem is, it is "I take from the deprived areas and give to the rich people of Tunbridge Wells"
33
IF THEY HAD THE CAPACITY FOR SHAME they would not be Tory MP's Tim...
33
I THINK OUR BELOVED PROF TIM has a nostalgic view, a romanticised, view of British politics where competent people are put in the position of minister, people who can DO THE JOB. This is a thing from a bygone era, something that now only exists in the memories of those old enough to remember such times... today people are put in positions because they are entertaining enough to distract the media, or malleable enough to do the bidding of those with real power without question.
32
Yvette Cooper was brilliant in dismantlement her. And did you see the faces of the people at the end of the chamber - one had his face in his hands in horror...
32
M&S IS RUN BY A GUY who thought Brexit would be a good idea and then had to admit, he had never considered the impacts on his pan-European business as they shut about 11 EU stores... Do you THINK they are a company that thinks about detail...???
31
IF LINEKER IS SO WRONG why do they care so much...??? I would argue they care cos they know he is RIGHT
30
THAT WAS MY TAKE sunak should resign on principle and state that ALL ministers fined should resign...
30
LET ME HELP YOU TIM I've published 3 books on the psychology of narcissism, and Boris Johnson is a narcissist. When a new person is appointed to a position by a narcissist they are ALWAYS worse than the previous person. You see the job of an underling is to suck up to, to cover for, to agree with and to flatter the narcissist. What they absolutely, must NOT do is be competent or be a threat to the narcissist's position. SO... Every appointment is worse than the predecessor
30
I QUITE LIKE the "activist King" we appear to have
30
YEAH BUT he is a really good and really serious economist FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE TOP 10% If you are in the bottom 50% he is a f-king nightmare on steroids
28
I HAVE TO CORRECT YOU TIM all bi-election related activities were SPECIFICALLY allowed, written into the legislation at the time, cos they knew there would BE a bi-election...!!! Having food delivered when you are working 200 miles from home and there are no restaurants open and no hotels open is ENTIRELY within the necessary scope of "bi-election related activities"
27
I WORKED WIHT LOTS OF PUBLIC SCHOOL BOYS this is my story... In 1995 I worked for a company in the north of England and earned about £35k as a very good sales person who worked incredibly hard. All the guys down south were ex public school boys from Winchester School, Eton, and Harrow. They played golf all day or went clay pigeon shooting with their friends from school who worked at the big banks in the city. I was daft enough to think they were skiving off work - until I was told the COMPANY paid for this??? WHAT? This was their job - and they were paid £65k. They were paid nearly double what I was paid to have fun with their schoolmates because they all worked at the big banks and the company got massive contracts from them. they worked at the banks got their dads and family friends worked at the banks. The company was paying for the CONTACTS and the FRIENDSHIPS the guys had made at the incredibly expensive schools.
27
NOTHING WORKS IN THE UK the passport service lost my application 3 years ago - its still not resolved.
27
TORY ON TORY VIOLENCE I love it.
26
WE NEED TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES BEFORE THEY ARISE have you met Boris Jonson...??? He is the literal definition of ignoring a problem and hoping it goes away.
26
OPERA IS A PERFECTLY NORMAL WORKING CLASS PASSTIME here in Bulgaria - every city has at least one opera house if not multiple... I was fortunate to live next to the outdoor opera house and listened to the performances every night. People would take their even meal on the grass in the park outside on a summer's evening and have the opera in the background. Making the arts the purview of the common man is one thing we have communism to thank for. [actually, we have a LOT to thank communism for here]
26
LETTUCE WINS - I watched it live, the lettuce take victory
26
IM READING CHURCHILLS autobiographies - he would with out any shadow of a doubt be UTTERLY DISGUSTED by every single Tory minister of the last 12 years. To him, service to a greater good was the be-all and end-all of a human life.
