THIS AFFECTS THE COST of all future UK Govt contracts - because the companies now need to take out INSURANCE to cover the possibility of the contract being cancelled when they have committed to the work and turned OTHER jobs down to do it. The security of Govt contracts is why they are sought after and lower prices than commercial contracts.

  2. THE HS2 LINE IS NOT A VANITY PROJECT it is necessary to stop the west coast main line collapsing as it is at 130% of capacity...!!! Please stop saying this and consult a railway expert.
