  2.  @NatMart9394  = Cos rising property prices benefit them more - to a point. That point has been reached. its about 3% return on investment. When it started to get difficult to get more a month for an average house in rent than 3% of its value + costs so £700 + maintenance costs + insurance + agency fee - so about £1000 ish. Also, house owners vote Tory on the whole so pumping property prices keeps them voting Tory. Like everything - its way more complicated than 2 lines of text on a You Tube comment - or a 3 word slogan. Interest rates for savers below 3% mean terrible conditions for renters - it forces savers into the property market.
