  2. I SAW THE WORDS FIRST robot sculptor - it was a kitchen worktop company in Yorkshire in about 2005/7 I think. It was literally the pet project of the owner of the company - he bought a robot from a car factory and equipped it with a rock cutting head and sent his guys to galleries around the world to 3D scan sculptures. It was AMAZING, even back then, what it could produce - but it was very slow.
