  3.  @juan_martinez524  - OK - I have to put you both right cos I recently traced the etymology of the word "woke" for a book I'm writing. "Woke" was first used to describe people "awake" to the fact there is a systemic privilege in society and its systems for one group over another. As this included say "Eton boys getting all the top jobs and govt positions" this was a very dangerous concept for the right wing. So they did what they always do - they adopted the word and redefined it to mean something else - as they did with "private property" in the context of Marx. To be "woke" was a terrible sin and it meant you believed all sorts of crazy nonsense that almost no one actually believed but you can always find a blue haired nutter to go on TV and say dumb stuff and "PROOF the WOKE are all evil nut jobs and can we stop talking about this distorted privilege in society cos that might appeal to a LOT of people who are not us cos we ARE the rich white male privileged ones in question" Almost NO ONE is actually "woke" in the way it is portrayed in the media - its NOT A THING - it was a very dangerous idea that they wanted to stamp out ASAP. In the same way "private property" does not mean the communists are coming for your toothbrush - thats personal property. And at the time everyone knew this. But the media owners adopted the words and redefined it and created a scare that the commies were after your toothbrush. Its amazing what you can DO when you OWN the media - this is WHY they own the media!!! You have been had by people who want you to hate the left and stop thinking about why you are poor...
