YES I HAVE 500Mbps fibre optic internet that is astonishingly reliable for £6 a month - obviously I don't live in the UK If I could be bothered to change I could get 2Gbps for £1 - but I have no idea the reliability and I don't NEED 2Gb nor do I NEED to save £5 EDIT - and here its the law that 500mbps IS 500Mbps and not "up to"
