  1. NO I disagree - shorter terms lead to very short-term thinking and the reason China is leading the world is it thinks 10 to 30 years ahead not 4 to 5. I would go for 10 years for a 1st term and then 2 years after that. Governments have to pander to electorates and that means short term thinking.
