GOOD ON YOU. i spent 25 years in sales, ending up quite wealthy with my own online sales business. But I was never happy. I always assumed it was because I was not rich enough. Just a bit more and I will be happy. 2015 I suffered brain damage in a mugging and 18 months later I was bankrupt and homeless. I'm now an author, living on pennies, but I have never been happier in my life. Turns out, it was not a lack of money preventing me from being happy, it was a lack of meaning in my life.

@Lee.Willcox - MY GOD. Your story sounds worse than mine. I suppose we are all quite used to our circumstances to sudden stories from others sound shocking..!?!?! I was incredibly lucky, I suffered impairment to my short-term memory and object permanence - if I cant see it, it kinda stops existing. So making notes on my phone is sort of useless as I forget I own a phone unless I can see it. So running a company is totally impossible. But I can research and write a book no problem. It could have been so much worse cos I could have been paralysed OR if it had not happened Brexit would have destroyed the company - but I would no doubt have massive financial commitments. so I totally lucked out 😀 I wish you the best...!!!

It was 5% getting an A when I did mine in 1988. Universities are starting to have entrance exams I hear, they cant differentiate between applicants as they all have 4 A's

Its horrific. What hurt me more was the palpable joy of the Racists that he was a brown person. The posts I saw they could bearly contain their joy that they had a new example of why all brown people should be deported. NOT sadness at the death of the old man, joy they had an example of a bad brown person... That really upset me.

THEY DONT NEED 4 A's at A Level - they need FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT so they can leave the collapsing sh!t hole that is the UK and have a decent life...!!! Poor poor kids, trapped on a collapsing rainy sheep-infested island in the North Sea
