I had a bank account closed in 2014 that was almost certainly for money laundering suspicions... I had to funnel about £50k a month from Amazon USA sales through my UK bank account and onto my Bulgarian bank account, cos Amazon stopped making payments to Bulgaria for some reason. I just used a personal UK account, never thought anything about it - one day they closed the account with no warning or explanation. In hindsight, it very probably looked like money laundering...
