AS A LITERAL COMMUNIST it tears my heart out to say the Queen does NOT personify the UK - she is WAY WAY BETTER THAN THE UK The UK is collapsing, badly educated, badly run, racist, damp, rainy, isolated, hated by half the world dump of a place that I left for work 15 years ago and have no intention of ever returning to. I should be saying the queen is an anachronism that needs to be got rid of - instead, I am saying the UK is an anachronism than needs to be got rid of...! >>> The House of Lords is the only other decent institution in the country - that is how bad the UK is. the only things of decency left are the bit the UK PUBLIC have no control over.
