David Foster Wallace I kinda agree with David. And the strange thing about humans is - ceremony seems REALLY important to us, for reasons we dont understand. The oldest human structure is Göbekli Tepe - we had not even made pottery and we created an amazing ceremonial "religious" space 12,000 years ago. I abhor the commercialisation and extremism of religion - but religion its self - humans seem to need that.
