AMERICANS ARE NOT THERE TO HELP YOU they are there to help American interests. Im always amazed that people dont get this. The fact those interests may overlap on one issue does NOT mean the Americans will help you with any other issue. They are not arming Ukraine cos its "the right thing to do" They are arming Ukraine cos its in the American geopolitical interest to do so. Were it not, they would let Russia HAVE Ukrai or even arm Russia.
