  1. TRUE STORY....!!! Last year my friend had a heart transplant and was denied ESA [incapacity benefit] and PIP...!!! I am not making this up. A heart transplant charity provided a benefits solicitor to challenge the decision and it was immediately awarded. The necessity of a solicitor seems to be a thing now - meaning that only middle class people now get benefits...!!

  2.  @lamestreammedia3154  - You misunderstand my point. I mean its getting to the point that only people who can afford a lawyer can get benefits, thats the system we are moving towards. My sister gets about £460 a month for her kid who is partially deaf and has ADHD - she didn't even bother herself with the system, she just paid a lawyer to process it for her. THAT is what I mean. Poor people simply cant afford to pay the lawyers to GET the benefits they are entitles to.
