PAY MP's £200k and ban them from ANY 2nd income I do take the argument that successful people in business are not going to work for £85k and the fact that being an MP can have both positive NAD negative effects on your future employment prospects. so you get £1 million for you 5 years as a recognition of EVERYTHING - but you are not allowed to take 1p in any form of entertainment or payment from ANYONE in that time.

  2.  @DrRusty5  I agree - but you have to take into account that a significant number of people, especially in the south east, have financial commitments that exceed £85k a year. this allows them to claim they NEED extra money - and some do - but £200k is livable for anyone anywhere. Just pay the money and absolutely ban ALL additional income of any kind.
