  1. THERE PROBABLY WILL BE A GLOBAL GOVT but it won't be a "J" one it will be Chinese - if you look at the earth from space over the last 3000 years - its a Chinese planet. Other empires are but blips. And the only people who look likely to genuinely be able to tackle climate change are the Chinese. This is actually the plot of my next book all bar 2 countries are run by the Chinese - The United Corporations of America and Great Britain where they decided to live permanently in 1930 with steam trains and compulsory cricket on Sundays.
