  1. I used to know a guy who's job it was to install the gas systems in laboratories. He explained to me why hydrogen will never be used in anything domestic. Even in a lab they have extractors and alarms if hydrogen is used, they assume it WILL leak. It can leak through many metal alloys - directly through the metal.

My issue is - he is NOT a scientist and has less than no idea about this subject. He should keep his mouth shut - he is just giving ammunition to the climate deniers as proven by this comments section. I respect him on the arts and politics, even on trains, but this is a subject hs should never touch.
