@ProfessorTimWilson QUOTE "According to the New York Daily News, 70 percent of lottery winners end up broke within seven years" They go on to list dozens of winners that either committed suicide or were murdered within 10 years of the win... Contrary to what the media tells you. A simple life with people that love you, good neighbours, just enough money to cover your needs - is the HAPPIEST life.

@thejupiter2 - YES - Bring on communism. I LIVE in an ex-communist country in an ex-communist apartment block. You know how much my heating bill is £ZERO cos it was built with passive heating and cooling cos thats good for the people. If you have kids under school age they deliver hot fresh food to your door every morning. In the recent general election 75% of people alive under communism voted for the communist party. And the reason I want to ban reality TV, large lottery wins and casinos in deprived areas is because I am an author on psychology and the collapse of civilisations and I KNOW how unbelievably abusive and predatory these things are. if you ONLY hope of a decent life is winning the lottery - YES COMMUNISM - NO TO THE LOTTERY. "deprived areas are too stupid and irresponsible to decide for themselves how to live their miserable lives." Sadly YES. Its not their fault, if they were educated well and had a better environment and didnt have the terrible stressors that being poor places on you then they would be less susceptible to making terrible life choices. But they dont, and giving them the lie that they can improve their lives through gambling is simply ABUSE. EDIT: How do I know poor people living in a terrible environment make sh!t decision - I USED TO BE a poor person living in sh!t conditions and I used to deal with it in one of the classic ways - alcohol. Thankfully for me there had been a lot of gambling addiction in my family so I knew what level of destruction THAT caused, seeling my uncle in hospital after the loan sharks attacked him with shovels. "That should be the preserve of the rich and middle classes only" - and this I have only just seen - it shows a catastrophic lack of understanding. Its NOT about denying poor people pleasure dumb dumb. Its about preventing companies from predating on their wretched situation for profit. Selling them the lie that gambling, that appearing on reality TV, that a bottler of whisky can solve their problems. These things DONT WORK on middle class and wealthy people cos THEY ARE NOT POOR AND DESPERATE - that WHY they build casinos in economically deprived areas cos middle-class people dont go to casinos cos they are not broke and desperate. DOH. Your inability to identify the problem and take it as elites wanting to deny poor people pleasure is kinda proof of your earlier statement "deprived areas are too stupid and irresponsible to decide for themselves how to live their miserable lives." When what we really want is for there to BE NO POOR people and to stop companies from predating on the ones we have until we abolish poverty. BTW - China - communist country 0.6% proveryt rate - UK capitlaist country 22% poverty rate in 2021, set to be 50% in 2023

@thejupiter2 "..there shall, in that time, be rumors of things going astray, errrm, and there shall be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things wi - with the sort of raffia work base that has an attachment. At this time, a friend shall lose his friend's hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before, about eight o'clock. Yea, it is written in the book of Cyril that... " We can all quote Life of Brian - does not get away from the fact the UK is a collapsing sh!t hole where the poor are abused and preyed upon and people like you unwittingly cheer it on as "a bit of fun"
