I live in Bulgaria - officially the most corrupt country in the EU - THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN HERE...!!! The guy in charge of the tax system not paying taxes and then settling his tax when he was head of the tax department - they are just NOT that ambitious in their corruption here.

@indivisible4835 - Im currently reading Churchill's memoirs one by one - there is absolutely no doubt he would loath and despise every one of the current government. For him, selfless service to your country [or to your "betters"] was the essence of a life worth living. The person he admired most in his life was his nanny, because she gave 40 years of dedicated service. But it's not like he was any different and this lot would literally disgust him. I was never actually a fan of Churchill, thinking his a Tory and therefore s(um. Apparently thats a fairly recent thing.

@indivisible4835 - Possibly the best thing that can be said about Churchill is that he was fully aware of how flawed he was and how others saw him. He freely admits he did his best and often it wasn't good enough and that others thought him a pompous a****. But the thing you cant deny after reading a few of his books, he was GENUINELY trying to do the right thing. He was not looking out for himself and awarding himself wartime contracts etc... He was trying and failing - this lot are not just not trying, they are trying to destroy in order to personally profit.

@indivisible4835 - I mean this lot - if there was a war tomorrow like WW2 that the UK was involved in - they would DEFINITELY be setting up "Spitfires R Us Ltd" and selling plastic planes to the MOD for £6 billion each that dont work We all know 100% for sure - they would do this
