  1. You should listen to the talk by Dr Gabor Mate on Thatcher. He said she had a psychotic hatred of the working class for their solidarity and community. Apparently, her family went through very hard times when she was a child but received no assistance from the state as their house was worth too much or something and being middle class no one helped them [and presumably they covered up their destitution]. This childhood trauma led to a lifelong pathological hatred of 1) the working class 2) Social safety nets 3) society and community and the absolute belief that ONLY the individual matters and middle-class homeowners are the pinnacle of human achievement.
