  1. I lived on a boat i the south of France for 3 years in the very early 2000's - It was wonderful but the money ran out. The internet was NOT what it is today, making a living and boating was basically impossible in those days - sadly. Spent most of the time on the Canal De Midi, which is just amazingly beautiful You would get up on a morning and be looking at a canal flanked by popar trees each side and the mist rising of the water - its was like a movie.

  2. I USED TO LIVE ON THAT BIT OF RIVER...!!! 2 years at Breighton and 5 years at Ellerton Its amazing - when you live somewhere, you never appreciate it
