HOW INTELLIGENT PEOPLE WERE is the thing that has really been made obvious to me from wearing historical fashion, People worked out how to stay warm and dry and look good and be comfortable a LONG time ago - and if anything we have devolved. Sweat pants and a T-shirt are NOT more comfortable than a handmade bespoke suit.   3. JEANS SUCK like you I was unaware how much jeans sucked cos I wore them all the time. Then I made a bespoke pair of trousers and I have NOT put on a pair of jeans since that moment 5 years ago. I didn't know clothes were not supposed to be uncomfortable, cold, damp in wet weather, etc
