  1. THAT SUIT is hand made by a very traditional tailor - the shoulder seam is a 120 year old method - most can not draft the pattern for that shoulder today. EDIT - for those interested, the seam goes back at an angle from the side of the neck to the back of the shoulder, not straight across like a modern suit. This hides the seam and because the fabric is cut on the "bias" it has more stretch in it, so it is more comfortable. But it is more complex to draft and make and uses more fabric.

YES - In the OP - the tailor who started this. I don't actually want the world to be like this, but it is like this. The better dressed person will usually get the opportunity all else being considered.
