This was my comment - it might resonate with you : I DONT THINK THEY "GAVE UP" I don't call not accepting the neoliberal capitalist propaganda bulls!t - THAT I BELIEVED AS GEN X - "giving up" Having a realistic grip on reality is NOT "giving up". I wasted 25 years of my life to become a "success" and guess what - it sucked. Its not like the movies - it won't magically make you happy. BUT the point is - Im the 1 in 1000 that "made it" - for every one of me there are 999 people who slaved themselves to death FOR THE CORPORATIONS AND THE ULTRA RICH in 2014 I suffered brain damage in a mugging, became bankrupt and homeless - now I have "given up" and I'm happy.

  2. GEN Z ARE THE MOST POWERFUL GENERATION IN HISTORY they just have to realise it - they can, en masse, grant or withhold their vote in elections - why? Cos they are hyper connected. Those Tic Tok dances - they are starting to become POLITICAL ACTION. And when Gen Z collectivize and agree to ACT AS ONE - they own the world...!!! My entire hope for humanity is in Gen Z. I for one believe in them.

And they are a participation culture, its about being part of a moment in time collectively, be that a song or a tic tok dance, OR as is starting to happen - political activism. Remember when they booked 1 million tickets for Trump rally and then didn't turn up leaving an empty stadium - ONLY Gen Z could ever do that. Gen Z should set up their OWN political party and then hold the other big parties to ransom for the block vote. There are 32 Million Gen Z of voting age in America - that is enough to grant or withhold any election to any party. Its growing at 4 million per year so in 10 years Gen Z have enough in their voting age group to elect a Gen Z president.

  4. TBH Sergei - I think you have good cause to feel hopeless right now, but Ukraine will prevail I am sure and you will rebuild and YOU can be part of that. I live in Bulgaria and some mornings we wipe the brick dust of Ukraine off house cars - So I know how bad it is up there. But your time will come Sergei.

  6.  @kittypeanut4102  for how to be a success? Or for how to be happy?? To be a success - success is almost entirely pure blind luck. Achieving success is having the dedication and money to keep going until you succeed, this is why rich kids succeed way more than poor kids, the parents just keep funding the failures until something works. Failure is the default position of life, it will happen 20 times for every success, learn from it and just move on. Never invest ALL your money into one idea - when it fails you are screwed for a decade or maybe life. It was my 13th business startup that was the big success. BUt even then every time i started a business I actually started 3 to 5, I put like £500 into a website and a bit of advertising and stuff and then looked to see which idea did the best. Usually, there is a clear winner and then work on that one. BUt even then it will probably fail. Its not a reflection on you. But you have to remember - being rich is not like the movies, and thats probably what you are expecting. Righ people are just as miserable as poor people mostly. How to be happy, learn to live on less than you earn, work as little as possible to survive and spend your time doing what you ENJOY and being with the people you love...!!! 95% of all the things that people by they dont need - its ego and to try and be happy for a few minutes. My landlord just bought a 30 year old low milage VW Golf Deisel as a daily driver - ly landlord is a very sensible guy...!!!
