  2. WHEN I WAS AT SHCOOL all problems had to be solved from first principles, it was just how you did things and your working and reasoning had to be shown. Last year I did the 1st Year of a University Degree in Ancient Chinese Philosophy - I KNOW NOTHING about Ancient Chinese Philosophy despite passing the year... Why? Because the entire program was about memorising the answers to the exam questions at the end of the week. THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR THE WEST
