@gavinhillick - Now I love a good and pointless debate of definitions and such, but I don't think you are correct here - the sea is wet. I don't have to do anything to it or get it on me for IT to be wet.

@gavinhillick - Im going to stick with my assertion that water IS wet. wet 1. covered or saturated with water or another liquid. "she followed, slipping on the wet rock" So the layer of water molecules under the top layer is wet cos it is covered with water. The top layer of molecules are wet cos they are 100 saturated with water molecules ergo water is wet.
