A guy I know - his wife had a cold, and difficulty breathing - the emergency doctor came out and told him to call an ambulance. It took about 2 hours to get there. She died. This was BEFORE the tories started to destroy things this time around - he lives in a remote village and it was a busy day. The inquest concluded "death by misadventure" I believe - anyway the point was she died due to the wait for the ambulance. It totally devastated the guy. He lives in a literal manor house and he never moves anything from that day forward - everything was as she left it when I knew him 10 years later. My point is - these waits are killing people every day.

@TheSuperPsychoKiller 100% agree - and my life as a child in the north of England was utterly horrific under thatcher. But thatcher and the rest of them had a vision for a more prosperous Britain. Noe one I agreed wiht - but they have a vison for the country NOT just for fulfilment of personal ambition and greed.

@fredatlas4396 - I definitely have not forgotten how bad the thatcher years were. going to school in black bin bags too poor to afford coats. Our friends burning their furniture to keep their new born baby alive through winter. No ive not forgotten. But I never believed she was selling the country out for personal gain...

@MazzaEliLi7406 - Ive lived in Bulgaria for 14 years. When I moved here we had dirt roads wiht horses and carts, old lada and Trabant were very common. The hospitals were like prisons. Now we have glass smooth roads with £1.3 million battery electric busses, scooter hire and bike hire everywhere, 27 new or refurbished hospitals in this city alone. Teachers earned 400 leva a month when I moved here - they now earn 1200 to 4000. Nurses earn the same. The high streets are bustling, even in the lockdown new shops were opening. The place is alive and vibrant, happy and progressive. The UK has gone backwards significantly in the last 14 years whilst the rest of the world have moved forwards. Last week the standard of living for the average Polish person overtook the average British person. You remember when poles used to come to the UK and be cheap labour - thats history even if we rejoin the EU My Bulgarian friend in the UK is moving back - her rent is £1200 a month and she can now have a better life on more money in Bulgaria.

@MazzaEliLi7406 "May Bulgaria & the EU continue to develop even stronger ties while retaining historic national identities" - Bulgaria seems to be doing a pretty good job of modernising without westernising, this pleases me greatly. "Have I looked in the wrong places or is the Troll discouraging your input?" Im doing an online course in tailoring, which is a hobby of mine, I make bespoke mens suits 1890 to 1930, Im trying to up my standard to professional from amateur. But its very gratifying you have noticed my absence - thank yo and take care.
