IM ENGLISH - England deserves to be alone. Alone in its pathetic racist future in the 1950's or whenever it is they fantasize about, ruled over by posh toffs from Eaton in the way that makes them feel secure and that all is well with the world. Slaving 20 hours a day down the Bitcoin Mine if they are lucky and thanking the Indian mine owner for the privilege... England has NEVER gotten over the loss of the empire, it seeps through our veins, only lanced by emigration and not to an enclave of Little England in Spain. It is utterly tragic to observe from afar. The desperation to still feel part of something special is as obvious to outsiders as a fresh dog sh!t in your living room, and about as appealing... Its a desperation so strong they voted for Brexit - economic doom but the chance to feel like the big boy again for a few fleeting moments before they die. Like a drig addict committing suicide with a known overdose, unable to face the reality of the world they inhabit - but determined to go out on one last high...

@therealrobertbirchall - The worst thing to ever happen to the Brexit people in the UK was WINNING. They LOVED to have the EU to blame. Now they are still blaming them but its not the same, even they know its not really the EU's fault.

@gustavmeyrink_2.0 I was listening to it thinking "This sounds like the Clash" then I read the title... When I was 7 or 10 years old in the late 70's I thought punk was a noise, I was too young for it to be my thing. I discovered it about 10 years ago and OMG was it actually GOOD. Those guys were talented and they had a message and they had passion and I think that is the last time we saw that in music, there was a bit of it in Rap but that always had the feel of something commercial. Eminem's "White America" is a stunning critique of the society - but he had to ass a disclaimer at the end "I'm just kidding America - I love you" to satisfy the corporate overlords and not alienate too many people...
