LET ME EXPLAIN why they were left out - IMO - Under the CAST system manual workers who 'scavenge" day to day for work i.e. SELF EMPLOYES are "untouchables" They deserve nothing. Sunak sees the class system in the UK as a CAST system, poor people and day to day self employed are "untouchables". They are to be actively shunned.

@Matt.Hurley Just the same - anyone that has no job, begs for work, itinerant workers [self employed], does a dirty job like street sweeper, etc is untouchable. The next level up is peasants, servants and commoners. Then merchants, farmers and tradesmen as long as they have premises and people come to THEM to have work done. Its complicated. But once I read that what we would call "self employed" would be "untouchables" I immediately thought THAT is why Sunak didn't give them any help - even though they are the Tories core voters
