  1. £38 BILLION on a track and trace app - that is the 3rd most expensive single project in human history...!!! YOu can buy 3 BRAND NEW Ford Class Aircraft Carriers for that - or 12 of the tiny little British carriers... Or 2 channel tunnels... EDIT: Or end poverty and homelessness.

  5.  @paulinskipukprogressive4903  - It is difficult to IMAGINE £38 billion it is such a huge amount of money. And it is essentially impossible to spend it on one project in one year. Its more money than the Paris to Marseillais TGV train line, which was hailed as a miracle that it only took 5 years [from memory]. Its simply NOT POSSIBLE to spend £38 billion in 1 year without VAST corruption. The 18 months of furlough - literally paying millions of people NOT TO WORK cost £69 billion. So £46 billion for 12 months, to pay millions of people... But £38 billion for an app...???? Does that sound plausible?
