@IshtarNike - OK - some brutal facts. The UK is collapsing and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. The UK has reached a point called "Interconnected Cascading Systems Failure" - Everything is broken and everything you need to fix it is also broken. This is a short piece I wrote on the UK the other day: The problem is the UK is collapsing and NO ONE has a way of stopping it. The reason they dont have a way of stopping it is because its unstoppable. This is why they are trying ever more desperate options. Hyper-individualism has removed collective power from the people and the vast transfer of wealth to the top has destroyed the system. The top is only interested in protecting its wealth. The bottom has no collective power. Everyone knows the system is utterly broken and no one has any idea what will replace it. So it lurches from one crisis to the next. Im a Labour supporter but it wont be any different under labour, just less vicious. Systems evolution has created a block of hyper-rich at the top that the entire system protects. They own the media, the internet access, the housing stock, the farms, the banks, everything. All with the purpose of protecting their wealth. Its not a conspiracy - its systems evolution - all systems eventually organise to protect and replicate. The evolution of capitalism has reached its "population explosion of rabbets in a field" point. collapse is not only inevitable, unavoidable - its happening now. ---§--- Austerity solves nothing - this is true - but nothing will solve this. The last point at which the UK was savable was the election of 2019. It is - THE END There will be 20 years of unimaginable suffering and then Gen Z will rebuild the country. IM WAITING TO LONG COVID sufferers to be vilified as lazy and scroungers...!!! It will come - sure as Tories are fascists it will come. I dont live in the UK, I do have long covid and I have a private income so I dont have to work -THANK GOD - cos long covid is VERY VERY REAL and it is life-destroying. But I know people in the UK who have it will be called lazy and scroungers very soon...
