I PAY A LOT OF ATTENTION to the general ratio's +/- in YouTube comments. EVEN IN AMERICA, I have seen almost no comments wanting to deny Afghan refugees... This is one subject that the vast VAST majority of people in the UK and the USA agree on - "the war was wrong and we owe these people" seems to be the prevailing view.

THANK YOU PHIL I absolutely hate this YouTube trend of doing "Reaction Videos" where Person A reacts to what Person B said about XYZ...!!! It is the cheapest form of content creation and always reflects BADLY on the person "Reacting" it says "I HAVE NOTHING ORIGINAL TO SAY"

@peterminton8105 - OH you are very welcome. I tend to monitor them cos I am an author. It gives me a feeling for the opinion out there. I mean obviously, you have to factor in the bias of the channel. But if you go on Fox News and 80% of the comments are pro taking Afghan refugees you can pretty much assume there is overwhelming support in the USA for that...

@Paul_C - Yep - foreign wars abandoned when it becomes unpopular at home is a recurring theme for the USA... As is "evacuating the embassy by chinook from the rooftop" I think this is just part of the plan by now.
