A Different Bias

@charlessandoval3382 - You have just connected the dots in my brain... NOW in the EU a physical human being has to be legally responsible for the actions of the company, if your company commits fraud or kills someone - that person stands in the dock and goes to prison if the company is found guilty. EDIT - I believe it has to be the person who most benefits from the company. I had completely forgotten about this new legislation - I bet this has a lot to do with the UK's eagerness to Brexit...

@markwelch3564 - Yeah thats a good point and one I had not fully grasped. "If I go bust I get to walk away declaring the company bankrupt - but if i succeed I took the huge risk and get all the profit..." again I had not fully connected the dots on that one until your comment... YES it would make sense that ALL companies have to pay a percentage of their profits into a corporate national insurance fund, if you go bust it pays your creditors. I have started 13 companies in my life. Only 1 of them went bust and it went bust owing £10k to another company owned by a guy who actually I really disliked. The liquidators took my S Class Merc that was registered to the company but the sale of that actually just covered the cost of the work the liquidators did. this was just after the 2008 crash and a direct result of it. Nevertheless - to this day I feel bad the guy lost £10k, looking back it would have been a perfectly reasonable request that I pay 1% of the company turnover to protect the creditors should I go bust....

CALL TO AUTHORITY TAG ON is the term I use for this tactic in my books on narcissism... Its what Jordan Peterson uses all the time. 1) cite a respected person 2) cite a fact by that respected person 3) Tag on some BS you made up and want people to believe Peterson is so good at it, you can't even tell where the direct quotation and his BS starts - so you automatically think the respected person said the BS, then he goes on to discuss the BS >> As if HE is the objective person analysing the words of the respected person. Unless you know the work of the person he is citing or the field in depth you WONT NOTICE he is gaslighting you with total BS. EG "As Churchill said "We shall fight them on the landing ground, we shall fight them on the beaches" and we need to fight them in the schools, we need to fight their woke agenda or our country will be crushed by the libs and if we look at this sentiment and dissect it you can see he was correct, we need to fight the libs as hard as we fought fascism" The quote ended at "beaches" but he just runs on implying that Churchill said the rest, if you call him up, he claims he was misquoted. Sorry for the long post - this behaviour is becoming increasingly command it annoys the hell out of me.

@BENTWOONEZERO - I have written and published more books on psychology than Peterson has... Peterson is excluded from the professional bodies I am a member of.

THE CITY OF LONDON IS A FAKE GDP GENERATOR Moving £1 from A to B is £1 of GDP - its not REAL The city of London is responsible for this BS idea that the UK has a huge economy - it does NOT. there is a MASSIVE difference between turning £0.5 billion of raw materials into £2 billion of BMW's and turning £1 billion of bonds into £1.001 billion of bonds - they BOTH add £1 billion to the GDP. Its part of the British fantasy machine.

@ecaeas4439 Britain has a massive GDP largely created by moving money from A to B, even if that transactions LOSET money - it still counts as GDP. If you transfer £1 Trillion from A toi B and you LOSE £1. You STILL added £t trillion to the UK GDP... As financial transactions are tiny profit margins on vast amounts of money and more than 50% of transactions LOSE money - its just a giant con. This is why the UK and Germany has a similar GDP yet the receptionist at the German hotel I stayed at drove a brand new BWM 330i convertible and NO her family had not bought it, she bought it CASH from her wages... The UK is really about the 15th largest economy if you take ut the fake GDP from the city. If you split the USA up into states and China into provinces and actually compare like for like the UK has the 27th largest economy in the world... This is why the UK has 5 MILLION children in ABSOLUTE - not relative - absolute poverty. its a 3rd word sh!t hole faking it.

@BENTWOONEZERO - NO - I'm actually saying [as did the guy who invented GDP] that GDP is a stupid way to measure an economy. Its like using meters per second instead of inches in a dick measuring contest. It's kind of relevant, but it can be very misleading if you get in a car [the city of London] and drive very fast. It does not mean you have the biggest dick, it just means you distorted the result.
