@CashelOConnolly - Im literally a communist - but where I am registered to vote Labour have zero chance so I will vote Lib Dem as they have a chance of unseating a tory. Where I live - in Bulgaria - we have PR. I get to vote communist, which is nice, and they get 25% of the vote - they never [in recent times] for a government. But having they get a decent % stops the Overton window from moving to the right. So actually, under PR you are probably better voting for the inevitable socialist party - even if you dont 100% support that, its stope the Overton window from moving to the right.

@CashelOConnolly - We dont have lib dems here - Im still registered to vote in the UK. I vote lib dem in the UK to try and deprive the Tories of a seat and I get to vote communist party here. 75% of the over 65's here voted communist i.e. the people who lived it. What is very interesting is the number of young people who vote communist - its pretty high. I arrived in Bulgaria a foaming-at-the-mouth capitalist. Its living here that has changed my views. Everything good about the country is a hangover from communism...
