@Chris Beckett What are you under the impression Scotland will struggle for money?? HAHHAHAHA Nearly 80% of all tourism to the UK goes to London cos 80% of all tourism marketing is about London, London sees Scotland as its main competitor. An independent Scotland would be fighting off tourists by the bucket load. And Scottish products have a massive cashet internationally - a recent batch of 81 year old whisky sold out every bottle of the 270 available immediately at £92,000 a bottle. The EU would welcome Scotland back with open arms and they will finance them till they get things rolling. Im English - but I can admit that what holds Scotland back is being chained to England.

@Chris Beckett - Scotland can have a vote whenever it wants. Scotland CONSENTS to be governed by Westminster. It has the right to withdraw that consent. France has always been an ally of Scotland and hated the English and now France is one of the big 2 driving the EU forward into the 21st century. The EU will welcome Scotland with open arms and will finance its transition - cos that's what the EU does. It helps the new countries get up to speed like all the shiny new roads we have here in Bulgaria - not like your crumbling pothole-strewn disasters... The EU built up the UK when it joined and then the UK just let it all crumble as well as stopped educating people, as you have just proven.
