@Bruce-1956 - It looks that way. If only someone could have predicted this.

@davidgreen6490 THIS IS THE SINGLE MOST DELUSIONAL STATEMENT I HAVE EVER HEARD and bear in mind my job is writing about narcissists... "Thats the problem, you refuse to see the good. We in the UK can see Brexit going much, much better than we thought it would and so simply don't care. I thought we would see a decade of economic decline instead of the multitude of successes we have seen in the last two years alone"

@davidgreen6490 - "We join the CPTPP later this year" - AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA Just as everyone in it is complaining about how terrible it has been for their economy and society... WOW you guys are just SPECIAL.

@e3498-v7l - YEAH - not a SINGLE WORD of that explained what is good about Brexit. you told me I don't UNDERSTAND what is good about Brexit, I asked you to tell me and you wrote 500 words slagging off youtube channels. So - 2nd go. Please tell me what is great about Brexit that you say I don't understand. Cos as far as I can see from over here in the EU - its a f-king disaster, ESPECIALLY for the young people in the UK who have had their entire futures ripped away from them. They have the option now of going to university in the UK and getting a job in the UK's depressed and crumbling economy. A life condemned to live in a damp, wet, dreary, miserable island cut off from the rest of Europe. A life I would not inflict on my DOG. My sisters child wanted to study Zoology in Germany - GONE - CANT DO IT - NOT AN OPTION. What is he supposed to do? Stack shelves in a damp Tesco instead??? Pick lettuce in a Lincolnshire field in the freezing rain?? COS THAT IS HIS FUTURE. so come on - tell me what IS GOOD about Brexit?

@Samuel_Morchin - The truest statement I have read in a LONG time. I am just working on an "info graphic" that explains literally this concept. Capitalism is an inverse relationship between [longevity] and [wealth generation]
2
@e3498-v7l - Explain it to me then. I am very eager to learn.
2
@e3498-v7l - NOT A SINGLE WORD OF THAT EXPLAINED TO ME WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT BREXIT I am giving you the chance to EXPLAIN TO ME what it is that I DONT UNDERSTAND. 3 times I have asked you to TELL ME what it is that I don't understand. IM BEGINNING TO THINK that you don't actually KNOW any benefits to Brexit that you could enlighten me with - cos I have asked THREE TIMES - and nothing...
2
@lazytitan9987 - 4 goes I have given him to give me one good thing about Brexit - he has written over 1000 words and the best he can come up with is "you cant understand cos you don't understand the basic terms"
2
@lazytitan9987 - this is the problem with making massively important decisions on emotions and subsequently emotionally investing in them. You cant walk away, you are denying part of your very psychological make-up, your self-identity. This is why America has 25% of its population now believing in Q-Anon, cos believing in the next thing is easier than giving up on all your beliefs... It is the very same mechanism that keeps abused people in the abusive relationship - it is easier to normalise the abuse than to accept that you are the victim off the abuse, cos you don't SEE yourself as a pathetic victim who let this happen to you. That's not your self-image. In America Trump was the manipulative abuser, in the UK it is Boris Johnson - they are both narcissists and they are both abusing on a national scale... To say "Boris is a liar and a conman" to many Brits is to say "I was a total and utter fool" The entire world can see that Bojo was a liar and a conman and that Brexit was an idiotic idea. IN the same way as everyone looking at the wife with the black eye saying she "fell over" knows her husband hit her... Only the Brexit voter believes the rubbish the Brexit voter says and only the wife thinks anyone believes her falling over story... Ironically its my work in the field of abuse that brought me into both these situations Trump and Brexit.

@lazytitan9987 - What the last 5 years in the UK and the USA has taught us: 1) "It can't happen here" is a fantasy - anything can happen anywhere 2) there is a DIRECT link between the quality of your education system, the health of your democracy and the longevity of your civilisation 3) the right wing DONT chip away at education cos they are tight with money, they chip away at it cos it prevents their desires for dictatorship - which are now unmasked in both the UK and the USA...

@e3498-v7l - HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA I'm a published author on both psychology and the collapse of civilisations. But yeah, its MY inability to understand the basic terms and words involved in Brexit [despite my ability to get several books published] that is the problem here... NOT YOUR INABILITY TO EXPLAIN AFTER 4 REQUESTS - A SINGLE POSITIVE THING ABOUT BREXIT BE an upstanding human and just admit defeat - you have had 4 opportunities to explain to me the benefits of Brexit - those are your answer to date: 1) 500 worlds slagging on YouTube channels 2) 300 worlds slagging off me 3) 150 words telling me again that "I DONT UNDERSTAND BREXIT" 4) Telling me - [published author on both psychology and the collapse of civilisations] that I DONT UNDERSTAND THE WORD INVOLVED so you cant explain it to me!! Now - full disclosure - this conversation is SO hysterical that it is getting screenshots and WILL be used in an upcoming book - cos this is OFF THE CHARTS. So last chance at redemption - admit that given 4 opportunities and writing over 1000 words total that you CAN NOT COME UP with a single good thing about Brexit. Off you go. BTW - the UK is collapsing as a society and Brexit and Bojo are the nails in the coffin that tipped the UK over the edge into "cascading systems failure". No, it can not be stopped, it is now self-perpetuating and YOU guys caused it.

@e3498-v7l QUOTE "Pick anything you don't understand about Brexit, anything where you don't know why anyone would want that thing, and I'll explain it to you." 4 GOES I have given you and you have not been able to come up with t a SINGLE thing - do go off bothering other people until you have admitted to me you have not got one.
1
@e3498-v7l - QUOTE - "The IMF in its updated outlook for 2021/2022 predicts the UK will grow at a rate about 25 % higher compared to Eurozone average. " YOU QUITE LITERALLY DO NOT KNOW HOW MATHS WORKS Im NOT going to explain it to you, go look up the term "Dunning Kruger Effect"
1
@davidgreen6490 - QUOTE "If you are determined to see Brexit as a disaster then a disaster is all you will see." Hey this is unfair. I was against Brexit but when it happened I was 100% behind it. If its going to happen LETS MAKE IT A SUCCESS... Its the REALITY of Brexit that is the problem for Brexit - not my attitude.
1
@e3498-v7l - Dude, you are laughable. I'm sorry. But you have had 5 goes now. Give up. I have a publishing deadline to meet - goodbye.
1
@e3498-v7l - This is hysterical - you don't understand that percentages are relative. 5% of a much smaller figure is less than 4% of a much bigger figure. And the UK has a smaller figure cos the initial drop way MUCH bigger. Unlike Brexiteers - percentages are NOT isolationist, without context they are meaningless. Go look up "The Dunning Kruger Effect"
1
@e3498-v7l - Ill help you out - the Dunning Kruger Effect - and for clarification, this is you [yes I know you are childishly going to say "no that's you" - you all do, you DK people so save the words] "The Dunning-Kruger effect is a type of cognitive bias in which people believe that they are smarter and more capable than they really are. Essentially, low ability people do not possess the skills needed to recognize their own incompetence. The combination of poor self-awareness and low cognitive ability leads them to overestimate their own capabilities. The term lends a scientific name and explanation to a problem that many people immediately recognize—that fools are blind to their own foolishness"
