AUSTERITY MEANS THE UK IS OVER - FOR EVER the UK will continue to decline for another 10, maybe 15 years and then slowly start to recover - but it will ALWAYS BE A 2ND CLASS COUNTRY It will be the Greace or the Macedonia of the 21st century, it will never be a 1st tier nation ever again. You can NEVER undo 25 years of stagnation. If a road is closed for 25 years and you rebuild it, you can NEVER make up the trade that would have happened on that road in that 25 years - same with economies.

The deal to be allowed to get elected by the hyper-rich and the media was "You can have power but you cant change anything" if they didnt agree they would get the same treatment as Corbyn [Im not a corbynite - cant stand him - but his mistake was saying he will change things] So we get more piffling laws to simulate governance and more management. There is one thing you can do to instantly improve the UK and its easily done and in a way they have started - BAN. PRIVATE LANDLORDS take all housing into government ownership. Landlords suck up every spare penny from society - a friend of mine is pay £900 a month for a tiny terrace in the worst part of Hull. The landlord probably paid £25k for that in 2000 They know about this as an option. -I have discussed it with them - they ahve taken military accommodation back, but they cant touch private cos the RICH own it. They WONT even commit to stopping American Private Equity companies buying up all the UK rental properties...!!!
