I USED TO BUY BUTTONS FROM THE UK* it used to cost me £12 for 3 day delivery of 1kg of buttons. It would not cost me £46 for delivery of the same and take - who knows how long? Naturally, I have found a mainland EU supplier. I am sure my story is replicated tens of thousands of times across Europe. *I make historical clothing so I need real horn buttons :-)

@justmythought7658 - Well - turns out there is pretty much only 1 company manufacturing these buttons, so this small business was buying them bulk from the manufacturer in Bulgaria, shipping them to the UK and then reselling them back to hobbyists and small businesses across Europe. So you can see why their business model has gone tits up...

@justmythought7658 - YEP - I thought they were just taking the P*** as first - then I found out only one company makes the buttons and the penny dropped. I hope they are not relying on export orders to pay their mortgage...
