  2.  @vicredshaw1155  One of two things that no one really talks about but had MASSIVE repercussions. 1) Trump pulling out of the nuclear deal with Iran That shook the world as being an absolutely blatant indication there was no point negotiating with the US, treaties mean nothing. 2) Biden freezing / seizing Russia's foreign exchange reserves in the US. Blocking the SWIFT system in Russia. At that point, China and OPEC started to divest from investments in the US and the $USD. The only thing that keeps the $USD as the reserve is trust in the USD. If you cant trust the US not to steal your $USD if they have a disagreement with you, then its becomes pointless and problematic to keep your money in $USD
