@Petal4822 - NO - NOT POOR POLAND If they don't play by the rules THROW THEM OUT. The EU p!ssed about with the UK causing endless problems for decades and then the idiots left and are not collapsing. Poland has had an absolutely VAST investment in it from the EU, I know I have friends in Poland I live in Bulgaria and know how much investment we have had here - and Poland was the same. There were LITERALLY horses and carts on dirt roads in Poland 15 years ago, rusted Lada and Trabants were the most common cars. They owe EVERYTHING to the EU - so play by the rules or get thrown out.

@mickeythompson9537 - Its not exactly that - Its cognitive dissonance. The pain of the awful reality is too much to handle when you have moulded your very identity around a cause - say Brexit or Trump or Q-Anon. When that reality crumbles to dust it takes with it your ego, your self image and that is as scary as death. So people develop coping mechanisms to keep the idea alive, that can be outright denial of the truth as often seen, that can be rationalising the situation for future benefits, that can be tolling the other side, if you can make THEM look foolish and they voted to remain than leave must be the right thing to do cos - look at the idiots that voted to remain. You nearly always get cognitive dissonance like this what a pathological narcissist in involves, the individual victim demonstrates it by making excuses not to leave the abusive relationship, with Trump and Johnson - both massive narcissists, and with cults - which are always run by narcissists.

@johnborisson3786 - And the Poles need to sort this out under the threat of expulsion. They need to protest the Govt and stop the Govt doing this sh!t.
