80% of people thrown off disability or incapacity are re-instated when they engage a solicitor, of the 20% who don't and take it to court a further 80% are successful..!!! Thats only 4% of people who challenge the decision in the law who are unsuccessful. A friend of mine who had had a heart transplant!!!!! was denied everything, she got a solicitor and they just immediately changed the decision on the 1st solicitor's letter. Now we may think that OMG they thought a heart transplant patient was fit to work immediately - but they don't, they don't even read the claims - they are automatically turned down.

GENUINE QUESTION ANYONE Im guessing these horrific cuts to benefits will never happen as they wont have a chance to get it past and implemented before they lose an election? And that in actual fact its a book balancing exercise to give the tax cuts...???

50% CUTS TO DISABLED AND LONG-TERM SICK BENEFITS doctors no longer write sick notes, the Job Centre decide. No more "work capability assessments" as they were deeming too many people as unfit for work - Job Centre decide now...!!!

@memebump7612 Get a benefits solicitor - they usually simply give you it on receipt of the first letter. They rely on you giving up. I mentioned above about a friend who had a heart transplant but it also happened to my sister who has a disabled kid, denied denied dnied denied until she got a solicitor and then it was immediately granted. AND backdated - it was a lot of money. She should have been getting it since the kid was 3 I think and he was 14 when they finally got it.
